Right i been at the same job for 10 years no vacation pay or sick leave,the only upside is i can take off anytime i need but without pay.

In contrast to the wheat production stats - which excluded Russia, a major producer - where USDA figures were at variance with UNFAO, these soybean stats closely follow the UN's when accounting for date. Still the USDA figures are 7 years old, while the UN's are 3 years old. Figures as old as the USDA's are simply not of much use, and there are more recent stats available. So I'm wondering at the value of these. I appreciate the effort here, but the execution concerns me. |

Looking at the wheat production stats, I'm wondering: where is Russia? It should be listed right after the US, but it's not on the list at all. I question your source, since it's at least 7 years old. Meanwhile, Wikipedia has 2008 stats from the UN FAO: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wheat#Production_and_consumption - somehow Ukraine increased its production from 3.6 million tons (USDA) to 26 million tons (UN) in 4 years or somebody's figures are wrong. |

It seems that a lot of countries are in the process of disappearing. Pope Paul VI's "Humanae Vitae" was derided by progressive Europe, that now is in the process of disappearing. May be Africa is the future (see that China is also below replacement level). This is the consequence of demographic global policies of the rich countries of the West, mainly EE.UU. and Great Britain, throughout the 20th century. |

Most of the communities in India (such as Bengali), are succumbed in 'Culture of Poverty'(a theory introduced by an American anthropologist Oscar Lewis), irrespective of class or economic strata, lives in pavement or apartment. Nobody is at all ashamed of the deep-rooted corruption, decaying general quality of life, worst Politico-administrative system, weak mother language, continuous absorption of common space (mental as well as physical, both). We are becoming fathers & mothers only by self-procreation, mindlessly & blindfold. Simply depriving their(the children) fundamental rights of a decent, caring society, fearless & dignified living. Do not ever look for any other positive alternative behaviour (values) to perform human way of parenthood, i.e. deliberately co-parenting of those children those are born out of ignorance, real poverty. All of us are being driven only by the very animal instinct. If the Bengali people ever be able to bring that genuine freedom (from vicious cycle of 'poverty') in their own life/attitude, involve themselves in 'Production of Space'(Henri Lefebvre), at least initiate a movement by heart, decent & dedicated Politics will definitely come up. - Siddhartha Bandyopadhyay, 16/4, Girish Banerjee Lane, Howrah-711101, India. |

The excuse that the USA's crime rate is the highest b/c of its massive population is a cop out. The USA's population is at 307 million. China's population is at 1.3 BILLION. Yet China doesn't make the list... Hmmm... |
