In some countries listed here, women are afraid to report being raped in case the police see them as fair game for assault as well. Countries also differ in how they define rape: for example, some include marital rape in their rape statistics and others don't. It could be that the figures for Australia, Canada, Iceland and the United States among others are "inflated" as these countries may define rape more widely than others do.

Why? I think women are much better communicators. Think about it. From the beginning of time men have been the hunters and gatherers whereas the women stayed together at their home communicating and bonding with each other because they never knew if their mate would be killed by an animal they were hunting. They needed to have a good relationship so the males that returned from the hunt would care for the mate of the male that was killed.
