NationMaster aims to provide as much compelling content as we can to the widest possible audience. We would also like to avoid distracting advertising. Unfortunately, there is considerable maintenance involved in a site like this. We are thus charging a small subscription fee in return for some really compelling new features.

- Scatterplots allowing you to view relationships between any of our numeric variables.
Be able to graphically demonstrate how two variables relate to eachother, showing for example that:
- Whether wealthy countries have longer life expectancies.
- Which countries are both militaristic and democratic.
- Whether growing economies always have low unemployment.
- Pie charts for all variables, clearly showing how resources and incidents are distributed around the world. Answer questions like:
- How much of the world's wealth does the US control?
- Who are the world's great polluters?
- How are soldiers distributed across the world?
- Printable versions of any graph or table you request.
- No advertising.
- The right to print out graphs, maps and pages for use as class handouts and other educational purposes.
- A much greater likelihood of permission being granted for publication.
