DEFINITION: Total number of males living in urban agglomerations. An urban agglomeration should not be confused with a metropolitan area, whereas an agglomeration refers to multiple connected urban cities, while a metropolitan area refers to a central urban area with outlying suburban cities and districts. Figures expressed per thousand people for the same year.
