Ian Graham take note of the fact that the current Solomon Islands Governor General is Nathaniel Waena. He replaced Fr. John Ini Lapli.

Solomon Islands is adopting a Unitary system of government. 20 years after independence there was a social unrest. One of the out-comes of the social unrest is that the people of Guadalcanal demanded state government system so as other provinces that make up the Solomon Islands.

What is your view about this move by the provinces that demanded state goverment?
