I will answer the questions but not go into depth : 1)Have there been any recent changes in Chile that has had an impact on business relationships? Lots of optimism make relationships easier and some law changes make relationships harder, such as executive invoicing. 2)Are there any specific problems, reqiurements, or both in Chile associated with costing, standards and regulations, marketing, and infrastructure? There is the consumer law http://www.sernac.cl/ and the tax office only. 3)What media sources in Chile are available for possible advertising oppertunities? Aside from the regular ones worldwide, Chile has a lot of street advertising in private cars, busses, road signs, bus stops and not expensive. On TV it's above average exposure. 4)Who is a major retailer in Chile that might distribute a consumer product? Falabella, Almacenes Paris, Jumbo (cencosud). 5) What rules and laws govern advertising messages in Chile? It's self regulated. http://www.conar.cl/ 6) What are the logistics companies that exist in Chile? Distribuidora Rabie is the biggest and most well known, but many retailers have their own companies, like D&S that have LTS.
