Not quite. It's the borders for the French Guiana which belongs to France.
That's not the most interesting part I agree. Borders for metropolitan France was left out. But it's not completly wrong. |

Hey i would like to find out about the French in Trinidad and Tobago. Like when did they first arrive on the island, their contribution to the economy, the different cultures that they left in Trinidad, their main dishes and other foods that Trinidadians and Tobagonians still use, place names after the French, dances that are currently used and their dress codes for formal or informal special occasions.
I think that if people have these kind of information they would be able to know their history some more and people would know the many different languaes and the background of the langages especially if the languages made a contribution to their country. So i think that you all should get something put together quickly that is accessable to researchers. Thank you for your patience in read what i had to say and i look forward in getting a response as soon as possible. May Gods blessings pour onto you in gathering this information for me.

If it's a fact that a part of the French population is against immigration, it doesn't imply that this was the only element to explain the April 21 election. France has been growing as a multi-cultural society for centuries. French immigration has been diverse -- I believe many Polish people came at the beginning of the century. Later many Italian and Portuguese people did, and more lately many Algerian and Moroccan people and now it's mostly immigrants from the east-block. Part of French society is against immigration. It was an issue in the last presidential election in France and Jacques Chirac was elected against the populist Jean Marie Le Pen (national front) with a large plebiscite. |

I'd like to know the most current demographics of France-I was born there,haven't been there in a few years and am planning a trip back there this summer-I'd like some info on how France is growing into a culturally and ethnically diverse nation like the States. I hear that use of the regional dialects of France are decreasing (Breton, Basque,Provencal, etc.) but of national languages are increasing, due to the influx of immigrants mostly from neighboring countries and France's former colonies. But I think it'd be interesting for me to know the stats on immigrants coming to France (where they are from and how many, for example). Would anyone be so kind as to share some of this info with me?
