I would first of all thank the President for the last election he has won.
I have been a careful reader of all the newspapers in and around the world about The Gambia. But I really don't like other people what they are saying about there own country.
We have to remember that how vere you live in Western world you will remain an African person, so it is not necessary to keep critising your own country and thinking that you are fame, but it is foolish pride.
Gambians , Gambians this is our country and we should be patriotic towards it and work hand in hand with out problems.
Let him take care of the country and we need to help him.

Maria Holley (Plymouth North Carolina) 2nd May 2006 |
I am Maria Holley and I would love to visit Gambia, and actually I have been socializing with a man from there by the name of Saikou Manneh. And I would like to visit him but I have my suspicions because I have heard so many terrible things about the Africans. That if I would go I wouldn't be allowed to come back and things of the sort. So I would like to know is it actually like that there and if it was possible for me to make a visit, would I be safe during my stay there. |
