I was told my great grandparents were from Hungary, their last names were Kasza and Borsh They were from Zaelardad and Kettornjulak but I cannot find these cities in Hungary, maybe they were destroyed or renamed. If anyone has any information, Please let me know I would be so grateful, my email is dianemcaffee@hotmail.com |

I would like to promote a recently published human story on Hungarian 20 century life.
Susanna Lapossy: Life Behind the Iron Curtain I.
ISBN 1-4251-0524-6

This book is a unique one, describing people's lives in the 20th century Europe . Though the story of a Hungarian family one can get an inside view into the WWI, Trianon-peace pact, pre-war peace time, WWII, German and Russian invasions and communist rule, forced relocations, 1956 revolution, iron-curtain time/ complete separation from the West/, socialism and finally the regime change from socialism to market economy.
