without Iraq there wouldn't be: wheels, medicine, numbers, simple and more complex math (algebra, algorithm), alchemy (chemistry...including alcohol, alkaline), clocks, writing...oh yeah and soap. Europeans never had the need of washing themselves. Until the Arabs came. So yeah...better not bomb it. |
