New Zealanders are fortunate. I'm an American living in Texas and a record number of people carry concealed guns because of the crime waves. You can't even leave your car unlocked in the driveway in upscale areas without being robbed. It was safe in the US until the liberals shoved "civil rights" and open borders on us. Now the crime rate has soared. Just a guy who doesn't ignore the facts when they hit me in the face. Don't believe me? I'll be glad to trade places and then we'll talk. |

A lot of 'white' offenders don't end up going to prison because they usually have access to finances to pay for good lawyers. Starting from a very young age, mummy and daddy cash up to make sure their children don't end up a statistic. |

I would agree with the above comments. The Maoris and Islanders are the main offenders in these statistics. The majority of whites living in New Zealand are law-abiding, but are still tainted with the same brush. |

Islanders only number very little in jail,there are way more Europeans in jail than islanders.Maori are over represented in crime stats just like any other indigenous people through the world ala OZ,US etc...Something went wrong there. |

I am sure these stats are correct for the Maori populace, sure, but the European crime figures are only about 1 in 200 and we make up 70% of the population. I call massive error on these stats |

Our real problem is our minority Maori, scapegoating their problems on so called oppressive white people and government officials. Remove our Maori statistics from the record.. and New Zealand becomes one of the safest, educated, productive countries in the world. |
