I'm using this site for a big project, and everything has been helpful! Thank you!

The advertising is abominable--not only from the perspective of children seeking information for their homework, but from the perspective who doesn't want normal browsing infested with lurid scenes.

The "sex info" is here, precisely because kids use this site for projects "and things like that". This site is about the truth and about the actual statistics relating to a specific country.

It does no good to hide unpleasant facts or lie about the world as it actually is. That's what communism and fascism were all about.

And parents have a responsibility to supervise and/or actually work together with their kids, when using any media source (books, film, internet, TV), so that they can help them understand what they see and learn--and if they think it necessary, to modify and correct their child's understanding of what they see displayed.

I'm not ok with censorship of any kind, anywhere. Leave the facts alone, let parents do their job, and let kids learn.

You`ll have to correct the GDP per capita value. That data you have here is from 1999. According to the OECD the GDP value per capita in 2002 amounted to $10846 (in PPP)

The robbery victims statistics also seems very funny to me, cose i.e. according to the OECD Spain has a robbery rate twice as large as Poland:

Where can I get information about Poland's state bird, tree and motto and also about the lives of people in Poland and recipes from there?

You need to correct update the sentence: "Poland joined NATO in 1999 and is scheduled to accede to the European Union along with nine other states on 1 May 2004."
