Sandy (Panama city) 17th July 2008	Unfortunately , george is absolutely right. Home invasions/robberies have become the norm and the police is doing nothing about it. Being a foreigner, you are targeted. I have been victim to this when a dozen guys came into our home and beat us up for a few bucks. This has scared us for life. If we had to do it again, we would not have moved here..
George (Dallas, Texas) 16th February 2007	Property crime in Panama is out of this world. Security bars, walled compounds and wrought iron doors and gates are the norm in Panama. Robbers and thieves are rampant because the police is practically powerless to stop them.
