Precisely because we are (fairly) smart. And had we been just a wee bit smarter, our political and economic elite would not have succeeded in stampeding us into the European Union by appealing to fears of economic melt-down if we didn't become members. Then we should still have control over our own alcohol policy, our own labour policy, our own agricultural policy (which had eliminated subsidies), our own policy on chemical use,, and not least, our own foreign policy, etc, etc, much of which we were promised we could keep after accession, but which we found not to be the case once the decision was made. Next time around, a majority of the Swedish people proved to be immune to Euro-deception.... |

For the 'make a graph' at the top of the page, it wont let me choose my own countries! It always has to be 'top 5,top 10 top 10000!!!'Why cant we choose our own countries instead of them being grouped for us? I need a graph about Belgium, Japan and Sweden but because of the way you've arranged your graph making thingy, I CANT DO THAT!!! Please look into this, thanx!;) |
