Your figures are misleading due to the concentration of wealth by the banking system with a few owners of commercial businesses that concentrate wealth with the owner. Then by mixing types of business (intermediary, commercial, stock listed, unlisted, located in Turkey, abroad, disclosed & undisclosed) lending is concentrated with these firms and in support of their retail sales. There is little competition. Taxes and regulations are avoided and concentrated on small firms and individuals. This means that Turkey has a political democracy and a financial dictatorship. This explains the corruption, high interest rates and economic volatility due to flight capital capital. If you look at cash flows you will see how futile the African experiment is because the fundamental economic structures concentrate wealth with a few and increase corruption. Have fun, Rodney!
