21st May 2009 		İn Turkish Alp is a man name.The meaning of alp is great,also in Türkmen language .İn history there is Türkmen commander which wared in Malazgirt with Barzantain and Turks entered Anatolia after this war the name of commander is Alp arslan, Arslan is lion in Turkish .(Great lion )
İn my opinion the word of Alp is comming from middle asia and Turkish name.Whats your suggestions?
