24th January 2009 		In the United States, indentured servitude was abolished along with slavery when the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution passed in 1865.

question: would it have been likely or common that 30% of field laborers in any state would have been indentured servants
in the 1800's 1810's 1820's .....1860's?
