I don't understand why you list people hs Jewish who have one Jewish parent and who do not consider themselves as Jewish eg. Paul Newman. Surely we have enough Jew do go around that we do not have to artificially enlarge the list.

Many of these Jews were Polish.As a person being born there, I feel as if we shall recongnize all these famous Polish Jews and take a moment of silence to remember all of those killed during the Holocaust.It is a shame of what mankind has lost for itself. Many of those killed were incredible doctors, inventors, politicians,etc.
