We purchased a magnolia tree from our local nursery three years ago. It had a root base about 6 feet across, planted it, and it was doing real well. Lately I have noticed black spots on the underside of the leaves and then they turn yellow-brown and fall off. Do you know what is causing this problem and how I can remedy it? Thanks!

I have a young Magnolia Tree. Shes three years old this year and almost two foot tall. My question is ,how old does she have to be before she blooms? When i got her it was almost fall so i kept her in the house through the winter. Planted her the following spring. My girl friend accidently weed wacked her off. I was very scared that she wasnt co ming back. She did, better than ever. If any one can help i would Greatly appreciate it.

I have a magnolia that is 27 years old. It is a beautiful, healthy tree about 25 feet tall. To my knowledge, it has never had a bloom on it. Can anyone tell me why that might be?

Thanks,

Are there dwarf forms of magnolia trees? We've recently bought a new home and the builder planted a magnolia next to the front sidewalk. We've been told it's a dwarf but I'm not sure if we should believe this. If there are no varieties small enough to grow in a six foot flower bed, then I need to move it to a more suitable location before it gets any bigger. I appreciate your time and help. Thank you.

I recently recieved an Magnolia x 'Jane' and planted it in a Full Sun location in my yard. The last couple of days I have noticed the leaves are rapidly turning yellow and beginning to fall off. What do I need to do to stop from losing my beautiful tree? Can you help me please, I haven't been able to find anything online describing what's happening?
Thank You
