Through my extensive research, I found out that the Malays are the original inhabitants of this land, called 'Alam Melayu' more than 790,000 years ago. They have their own culture and teaching, called 'Malaiyana Mulayanam' (The Malay Teaching is the First Teaching) comprised of 173 books. One of the famous books is called 'Malaiyavahasarahsiyahanamvahasatrisuptasanmargasthupasanam' (ini mula kalam mahadiri, pada mereka yang ada bakti, selagi masih tak kenal lagi, hanya ibarat air di daun keladi, mereka yang sudah fana'kan diri, mengerti akan rahsia ini, kerana tiada sandri tanpa negeri, paduka raja empunya diri, diri segala mahadiri). These books were created by Mahasiddha Svayana more than 790,000 years ago. Part of 'Alam Melayu' was submerged into the sea (now South China Sea, Sulu Sea, Java Sea and Gulf of Siam) due to massive catastrophic upheavel of eruption of Mount Batara Guru (now Lake Toba and Samosir Island). Please refer to the Malaysian 'STAR' newspapers, dated 14/02/2011 on a bid to make Lenggong a UNESCO site where USM archaeologists found a site with habitation of more than 1.82 million years ago. |
