Julius Caesar wasn't really an ambitious person, you can notice when Antony, offered him the crown three times, if he would have been ambitious, he would've say yes, but he refused. And some people believe that Brutus didnt really care about Rome, he wanted to amnipulate the people and tell the people that Caesar was going to enslave them, and that's why he killed Caesar, and he wanted the conspiracy to name him king of Rome, but it din't happen, because Antony was too clever and convinced the citizens that Brutus was guilty. So Brutus was killed, and his house was burnt. |
