One little update here, India has announced that she would donate $628 million in tsunami aid.

As you say, it would be even better to see what amount of the pledged funds is actually transferred to the Asian countries!

Almost $7 billion so far! And those are only the nations that are listed here.

I believe that everyone from every nation, whether large and powerful or small and poor, should be proud of what we have done. This really shows the generosity of mankind, and the truly great people we have on our planet.

Total funds recieved by Earthquake Victim in Pakistan are $600 million only!!! This is despite the fact that the destruction is much more widespread and the challenges are much more daunting...... is the value of human life not the same globally?
