I think the fact that people are bored in school has very little to do witht he education system. Children in the US are bored often. If you were to give a child a toy and told him/her to play with it for 13 years straight, for real he/she would find it boring.

I think people are bored because they are not motivated with school. They'll rather go play football, basketball etc. I believe that the teachers should really consider to demonstrate them(the students) how the knowledge has its impact on their future life.

You can't relate toys to school, period. It has a ton to do with the educational system and the teachers you are given. If I would be able to do more hands-on projects in class instead of having the teacher talk the whole hour I would be a lot more entertained. I'm sure that other students would agree with me. Your proof that this doesn't happen lies in the statistics.
