I seriously think that in the gulf arab states, especially in UAE, there are more cars than people. I have been nearly all over the world, but have never seen so many modern luxury cars cruising along the streets as they do in this oil-rich region.

They are obviously using a strange definition of the term "car". According to what I understand by "car", the United States is clearly ahead of any other country in terms of "cars" per capita.
