You ever consider what percentage of exported food is produced using diesel made from oil? Decline in the amount of oil that can be produced at a reasonable cost is inevitable. The longer governments in developed countries wait to force conversion to electric or natural gas powered vehicles,the more millions will starve in those countries greatly dependent on imported food. Half the "easy oil" is gone so soon the price of oil will begin to rise rapidly. Every day we delay in addressing the coming liquid fuel shortage is a day closer to the end of civilization.
