My wife and I were robbed in Barcelona, my briefcase was stolen by stealth. 20+ cruise passengers we mwt had the same experience and not one saw a weapon. I wonder what the punishment is for a crime with a weapon? Is that a deterrent? What if we were in a meto area in the US? |

Saudi Arabia, which implemented the Islamic Hudud system, have relatively low crime rate.. We can leave our shop and stall open just like that for hours knowing nobody gonna steal anything.. =) |

Interesting:
1. Spain has the most robberies (500,000), but relatively minimal burglaries (24,000).
2. All the G7 have the most burglaries (top 10).

Working with burglaries and robberies in teh retail industry, it would be helpful to know what percentage of the burglaries and robberies occured within teh retail industry. And also if teh profile of teh land could be devided into the provinces with their statistics individually.
When will these stats be updated? |

I love this site...it's very useful in gaining in depth knownledge of World issues. I have noticed that for some statistics, the US is not listed. Such as population, I know for a fact (according to CIA) that the US is third to China and India, yet your website does not reflect that. What is the deal with the removal of the US from these statistics...it's very misleading. |
