Or that Australia would get the message. In the UK last year we had 48 deaths where a firearm was responsible. 12 of those deaths were caused by one man, plus himself. So taking those away left 35 out of a population of 60 million. One shooting for each one and three quarter million of us. Almost all of the 35 murders were committed by drug dealers over turf. |

We still have guns in Australia, mostly in the hands of those who need them and some in the hands of criminals but our gun murder rate is less than 25% of that in the United States. You'd think they'd get the message! |
