What is the definition of Electric Generation Ability?

Dear Sir,

Energy Statistics > Electric generation ability (most recent) by country
VIEW DATA: Totals Per capita

There seems to be something basically wrong in the figures given in the above table where the per capita Electric generation ability is shown for say, Japan at 226,000,000 killowatts. (or 226000 Mega Watts per capita!)

Also several major generating countries like USA, China, India etc are missing from the table. Would wppreciate a clarification in this regard.

C S JACOB
