Every body admits that modern life seems to be expensive, nevertheless different people require money for various things and not every man gets big sums cash. Therefore to receive quick home loans or just commercial loan would be a correct solution. |

Canada closed the gap between it and countries like China, Mexico by about 400,000 bbl a day in the last year. with the 2nd largest reserves in the world how long until Canada makes it to the top3 ?
Russia will have no more reserves in less than 20 years.
USA will have no more reserves in less than 10 years.
China will have no more reserves in 11 years.
oil from Canada is in big demand, largest supplier of oil to the USA. at peak productoin within the next 20 years Canada could be the second largest producer. |

Sir/Madam, please list Top oil Producers and Consumers and their amounts(bbls/day)in 2009, thanks.

Dear Sir/madam
Your database reflects incorrect numbers. I think, this table reflects the data for the gas production and not oil production. You have to be more careful, because people are using this kind of data bases for there researchers, this mistake is not acceptable.

THATS ALOT OF COUNTRIES THAT DONT HAVE ANY OIL |
Abhimanyu Sharma 22nd July 2009 |
If Sierra Leone produces 0.7008 Barrels per day of oil, where does it refine that?Is it really cost effective to refine such miniscule amounts of oil? Moreover you have listed more than seventy-odd small countries which don't produce oil.Is it because they don't have any oil reserves or because the reserves aren't cost effective? |
Howard M. Wyllie 22nd April 2009 |
As I look at the numbers it occurs to me that if we did'nt export any oil we could self sustain the countries oil usage with our own oil.Am I wrong? Look at what we export, how much we create and how much we use.To me it seems obvious how to solve the energy crisis.Stop exporting oil and use it here and drill,drill,drill....we produce almost as much as Saudi Arabia , we drill we can definetly catch up,so whats the problem?..If I'm wrong please tell me and explain why...Thank you...Howard |
LUIS ARCIA (VENEZUELA) 1st March 2009 |
YOU SHOULD CORRECT VENEZUELAN OIL PRODUCTION, IT IS CURRENTLY MORE THAN 3.4 MMBLS PER DAY, OF WHICH 0.7 MMBLS/D ARE DESTINED FOR OUR CONSUMPTION AND THE REST OF IT IS IMPORTED. YOU SHOULD REMEMBER THAT VENEZUELA DOESN'T IMPORT OIL, SO PLEASE CORRECT IT. WE ARE OCCUPYING THE POSITION 7 AFTER MEXICO AND THE POSITION NUMBER 1 IN THE WORLD AS COUNTRY WITH MORE OIL RESERVES. |
Alex Maksymowicz (Ashland, Oregon, USA) 25th September 2008 |
I would like to access your time series data, say for oil production, but I cannot locate a drop down box for the year of interest. Where is it located? Perhaps you could provide an example of how the process works on the page that gives rather scant verbal instructions. Thank you. |
Paul White (Fort Myers Fl) 29th April 2008 |
Us is the 3rd largest oil producing country inn the world. How much of the oil is exported? |
Franklin F. Carrasco (Wildwood NJ. USA) 4th February 2007 |
Why Venezuela is not listed in this page? |
Harry Freeman (Texas, USA) 19th January 2007 |
Why does your statistics fail to mention that the USA produces oil? |
Inder (san Jose) 7th January 2007 |
Above Oil Production unit in thousand barrels/day seems incorrect. Is it not barrels/day instead? |
Filippo (Eni) 22nd June 2006 |
This data is wrong, Venezuela produces more or less 3.000.000 barrels/day. Please, if you don't know about oil industry, don't make a page like this. |
fred bettin (bettin@mindspring.com) 3rd May 2006 |
Where can I find statistics for the % of Carribean oil production for each company involved in Carribean oil production? Thank You. |
fluid 1st February 2006 |
Question: What does 1,000,000 thousand barrels a day mean?
Intuitively, this should mean 1,000,000 * 1000 barrels a day, but the figure for Saudi, for instance, should be about 8.7 million barrels a day.
Also, where is the United States? The CIA Factbook and other sources show that the U.S. is producing between 7 and 8 million barrels a day, which should put it ahead of Russia for the number two ranking. |
Craig McKenzie 20th December 2005 |
So, in August two data viewers posted comments indicating two omissions from your data, and you have neither corrected nor commented regarding these rather significant errors. I can only assume this is an internet toy, rather than a scientific endeavor, and that mine is a non-authoritative comment.
Sadly,
C. McKenzie |

Exactly, what about Trinidad's oil? What is your source of information? |

Who are the top 10 importers of oil into the United States.
Why cant the United Stated build more oil refineries. Is it do to the left wingers putting so many regulations on the refineries. |
Kenneth Crook 9th October 2005 |
Sirs,
On a list of the worlds oil producers, the U.S. does not appear. Even though the CIA world book shows the U.S. is third in production with 7.2 million barrels per day. There seems to be something wrong with your database? |
Sam Dajani 11th September 2005 |
How about Trinidad's oil? |
Ralph 18th August 2005 |
In reviewing your petroleum production data, I notice you do not include Venezuela. This makes me doubt other parts of your data. |
Andrew Charnley 14th August 2005 |
Hi Ed - pardon me if I missed it but could not see the major reserves and production of Trinidad & Tobago. T&T provides about 4.5% of world consumption of oil (UK was 5% of Wide consumption). You may find their gas reserves to be substantial and they have the world's largest LNG sites, providing approximately 85% of the present US LNG consumption...and that is from memory...is the CIA Fact-book so far behind? Sincerely...Andrew Charnley |
