Did you also notice that there is no China on this list... I guess the most polluted country in the world didn't make the cut.

Interestingly, you realize (we hope) that the countries in Europe of very, very small compared to the U.S. So what you need to do to make it totally fair is to add together the emissions from Canada AND the U.S., and then add together all the countries in Europe and Asia (that are on the same continent) and their emissions--my guess is that the U.S./Canadian emissions would really pale by comparison. After all, you are comparing apples and oranges by comparing half a continent (the U.S.) and, say, the tiny-by-comparison country of Italy. Well, the emissions of all Asia do not spill our separately but commingle, so let's compare apples to apples and continents to continents--it's simply unintelligent to compare a country the size of the U.S. with a country the size of, say, Albania. Why do you think this makes any sense at all?

So I noticed that the header boldly reports this as carbon dioxide numbers, but down in fine print it specifically says metric tons of carbon (NOT C02). I find this to be a terrible misrepresentation of information, and an obvious bias in reporting.
