This list is incomplete. In Curacao, a small island in the Caribbean with a population of only 150.000 we have 5 McDonald's restaurants. That is a average of 30.000 inhabitants per restaurant. I tought it is 2nd after USA which is 23.000 inhabitants per restaurant. Japan is 35.000 per restaurant. With 5 Curacao has more then Brunei and Iceland and did not make the list. Also not on the list is Venezuela and I thought also Panama has McDonald's restaurants. |

There were 200,000 Death camps that went "unnoticed" yet there are a little of 1,000 MC D in Poland and Germany and over 12,000 in the US. You cant go into a town without seeing a MC. How many cars pass through McDonald's drive thru every day? Assuming a conservative 500 cars pass through a typical McDonalds and we assume a conservative 2 minutes per car idling in line---the "green" thing to do would be to close all drive thrus and encourage customers to come inside. Doing so would save 325,000 gallons of fuel---just at the 13,000 McDonalds in the USA! McDonald's could show some leadership in this area...I imagine the numbers are even bigger. |

ON FRI. AUG 4TH I WENT TO OUR LOCAL MCDONALDS. I WAITED OVER 30 MINUTES FOR MY ORDER. THERE WERE AT LEAST 8 TO 10 OTHER CUSTOMERS INSIDE AT THE COUNTER ALONG WITH ME. THE DRIVE THRU HAD SO MANY CARS IN LINE PEOPLE WERE LEAVING. THERE WAS ONLY ONE GIRL WORKING THE COUNTER. DID I MENTION THIS WAS 5:30PM.
