Invasion of irak is just part of a vast plan for the new world order, where as the centre of power is shifting from governments to big powerful military / energetic / pharmaceutical / food companies.
Their aim is to control every aspect of our lives.

This table sorely needs some clear definitions and some consistency. What is the difference between a republic, a parliamentary republic, a constitutional republic, a constitutional democratic republic and a republic under multiparty democratic rule? And do any of these differ from a multiparty democracy?

Actually, oil was not the reason we invaded Iraq. If you think it was the reason then you obviously have little knowledge about economics and social policy. If we wanted Iraq's oil we could have lifted the sanctions on Iraq and purchased it for a very inexpensive price; however, we invaded Iraq to liberate 27 million people. If we wanted the oil then why are we buying it from the Iraqi people for the same price Saddam offered it to us??? The 'oil' argument is totally unjustifiable and has no basis in fact.

The real reason we went to war in Iraq is because it is the heart and center of the middle-east. Iraq is the only country in which we could fight terrorists from Iran, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, etc... without having to invade each of those countries.

By invading Iraq we have started a domino effect in the middle-east. Iraq first held successful elections, then Saudi Arabia allowed municipal elections for the first time, then Palestine had democratic elections, followed by Kuwait, Lebanon, and Egypt... so as you can see... by invading Iraq we have started a domino effect of spreading freedom throughout the middle-east, while at the same time, having a central front to fight terrorism.

Why do countries, such as North Korea, China and Cuba, still have a communist type of government, as in every single country that's had communism, such as Russia (when it was a part in the USSR), will know that communism will never work?

And, could you tell me the difference between communism and socialism?

If we invaded Iraq only for oil, then what purpose does it serve to rebuild the country. My point is, if this is simply an act of imperialism, why go through the process of making sure that the whole country is stable and such. We could have simply invaded the oil rich portions of the country and secure them. The war is unpopular anyway and doing it that way would have been immensly more practical and cheaper. Plus, we could have justified by saying we were punishing Iraq economically for its WMD's, seizing its oil as a type of sanction, and never have had to search for the WMD's and prove they were or were not there.

BUT NO! We invaded and took control and now are doing our best to help that country become a stable and modern country. Despite unpopularity and casualties, we are staying firm, no matter how expensive oil is(because we are not ciphoning it off Iraq), the death of soldiers, or the appearant difficulty of our task.

As for the Saudis, they never threatened their neighbors, have no and have never had any WMD's, significantly stemmed their support for terrorism, and have made an attempt at reform. What you have to understand is the monarchy is slowly(very slowly) making democratic reform, Iraq wasn't. Iraq was a destabiliting factor. Democracy breeds stability, stability breed economic, social, and physicial security, which will result in better trade, more stability. In the long run this may actually mean better prices for middle eastern goods(including oil), so you may be correct in saying this war was for oil, it was just for a lot of other things too.

That wasn't the reason - that was the excuse given by the US government to fool people and to garner support for the war - the real reason was to ensure oil/fuel for western nations over the long haul. This was also the reason behind wanting Russia to be democratic and we will probably use it to justify the democratization of parts of Africa soon, too (these nations have oil supplies and in case the Middle East doesn't work out, we have back up solutions). Just my opinion.

Blaming 9/11 for the war in Iraq is ludicrous - there is no connection - the government once again used a very emotional subject as a justification to get support...

A federal republic is a type of democracy - just not a pure form (in the US pledge of allegiance...it says to the "federal republic for which it stands").

Federal republic - a state in which the powers of the central government are restricted and in which the component parts (states, colonies, or provinces) retain a degree of self-government; ultimate sovereign power rests with the voters who chose their governmental representatives.

Well as we just discovered, Iraq didn't really have any WMD, which was the reason the USA cited for the invasion. So Iraq really weren't threatening its neighbors. The true reason the USA went in was for the oil. The WMD scare was a set-up. It was also necessary to help the suffering inhabitants but this type of turmoil is occuring in numerous other countries that don't control anything the USA WANTS (not need); it just chose Iraq for the oil and somehow blamed 9/11 on Iraq when its was not involved.

For my school project I have to color a map of all the countries in the world according to their parties including: left, center, right, fascism, monarchy, dictatorship (socialist and non socialist). I was wondering if you could help.
