The UK is somewhere near the top about 5th or something, id say. But I spose we will have to count UK for Ireland on here.

Why are there no stats for the UK?? Surely the data is available?

In some cases, changing the stats is harder than it seems. Slovakia and Hungary for example (Romania, Bulgaria and some other countries not included, as well) have large gypsy minorities, where early marriages and babies are cultural standard. Fourteen years old gypsy girls not only don't try to avoid pregnancy, they are generally happy if it happens. As these communities live quite segregated and have their own specific priority chart, this is very hard to change.

I THINK TEENAGE GIRLS SHOULD LEARN MORE ABOUT SEX AND GET ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE AND RISKS ABOUT BEING A TEENAGE MOTHER.THEY SHOULD BEAR IN MIND THAT THEY ARE NOT BABY MACHINES AND IS NOT A FASHION TO HAVE SEX DURING THEIR EARLY AGES.THEY HAVE TO ENJOY THEIR VIRGINITY AND WAIT UNTIL THEY ARE OLDER TO HAVE SEX.THEY SHOULD INHIBIT SEXUAL INTERCOURSE BEFORE MARRIAGE.TO PARENTS, THEY SHOULD INSPIRE, EDUCATE AND TALK TO THEIR TEENS ABOUT SEX.

UK should be included here. It is included in the source research and has the highest teenage birth rate in Europe.
