Kind of surprising to see France at the bottom of the list. I stayed in a hostel in California for a few nights and a French guy in one of the bunks always left his MacBook and digital SLR out on the bed unattended all day. That seems incredibly trusting to me- I can't see too many Americans doing that. |

"After all, we do tend to trust a superior product over an inferior one"
So based on your logic, the Irish are superior to the British? |

It would be nice to see this broken down by gender too. Do people trust women more than they do males? Do males trust women more then they do males themselves? From some studies I have seen, most trust women more and they trust males the least. Makes me think even the males know they can count on women more than they can each other and even though they will not admit it, they do realize that women are superior in most ways over the males. After all, we do tend to trust a superior product over an inferior one. |

As a foreigner in France, you'll see that the French are also untrustworthy, apart from not trusting others. It seems that French people always try to take advantage of visitors by overcharging them, not giving them what they want, giving bad service, et cetera. I have been scammed (admittedly in minor ways, usually) dozens of times in France. |

No surprise that Norway is on the list. Often, if you lose your cellphone or wallet filled with over 500 kr, people will actually hand it to a lost and found! It's pretty amazing. |
