What is the definition of 1,000 people? What is the age range? Does 1,000 people mean ages 18-65? Or is it any person any age? It makes a difference! |

Why doesn't NM put a date next to the stats?????? We are usually comparing apples with oranges here. Stats of some countries belong to 2006, where as some belong to 2003. |

It is 0.598738712 cell phones per person in Romania and therefore around 600 cell phones per 1000 people. (Isn't it cool that we both live in Arizona) |

Hi, where is Turkey in this list? There are over 42 million cellphone subscribers in Turkey and the population is 70M. So it is 600 per 1000 people (2005). |
