What is the definition of 1,000 people? What is the age range? Does 1,000 people mean ages 18-65? Or is it any person any age? It makes a difference!

Why doesn't NM put a date next to the stats?????? We are usually comparing apples with oranges here. Stats of some countries belong to 2006, where as some belong to 2003.

It is 0.598738712 cell phones per person in Romania and therefore around 600 cell phones per 1000 people. (Isn't it cool that we both live in Arizona)

Hi, where is Turkey in this list? There are over 42 million cellphone subscribers in Turkey and the population is 70M. So it is 600 per 1000 people (2005).
