The numbers mean nothing. USA is blessed with Canada and Mexico at its N and S and the mighty oceans in E and W.
So they have their entire manpower at its disposal.
That is might.
India or China cannot afford that luxury. |

I cannot understand why some of the major nations are excluded! I am putting together the most comprehensive list of the armed forces of the world. I know that China has the largest army in the world. USA is the second largest. Russia is either third or fourth largest with India being in the top four. I do not know what the most recent list is, but I am trying to get as recent as I can with the military forces of every nation in the world. If you want to contact me and let me know the statistics, I will welcome it. My email address is vietasianfox45@gmail.com and I hope that I will get the updated version of ALL nations of the world. I also am making a list of every nation in its mother language as well, but using the Romanized alphabet, meaning English. An example is Da Afġānistān Islāmī Jomhoriyat. I am a military statistic buff. I also am going to include how many nuclear weapons each nuclear nation has, including Israel and North Korea. It is a given that the USA and Russia have the most nuclear weapons in the world.
I think all nuclear weapons should be in the hands of USA and Russia, in case we need to use them against killer asteroids, if necessary. |

If anyone goes to war with any one of the 30 contreys in the United Nations, they would be blown to bits by uprisings, lack of resourses, and the massive wall of millions of soldiers. Were going to be safe for a very very long time. If anyone even tries to lanch a nuke at the americas, it will be shot down FAST. |

"So basically if we go to war against the N. Koreans.... and China side with them..... we're in trouble??????"
Actually, no. Going to war with U.S.A. would be like throwing rocks at a mountain... Numbers mean nothing. |

The Soviet Red Army used to twice a year draft every boy who had turned 18 in the last six months. The Red Army was full of kids from 18-20, few of whom reenlisted. An interesting statistic would be to find how many "lifers' are full time pros in different armies. |

Russia is also missing... |

Seeing all these depressing statistics regarding India makes me wonder what would be the most advisable enterprise for India from the overall perspective? I have a Venture Capital proposal for $ 280 Million or more and am searching for some Venture Capitalist or Angel Investor. If you could kindly some Venture Capitalist or Angel Investor to contact me at bpfp@rediffmail.com, I would be really grateful. |
