It seems like you should have the numbers I am looking for but can't quite seem to find.

I'd like a chart or table of the troop strength in Iraq over time, both overall and broken down by country. In particular, is the "surge" simply an increase in overall troop strength or is it simply an increase in U.S. troop strength?

is there a site that provides the following stats??
How many US active duty military personnel were there from
1988 thru 2006 ? If possible this data would be divided by year and by Army,navy, Air Force, Mmarines. many thanks.
