Nigerian figures is not correct, because in the north west there are 38millions muslims, in the north east 19.5 millions, in the north central 13.5 millions in the north west 18.5 millions in the south east 500000 thousands, in the south south 1 millions all together Muslim in Nigeria are 91-93 millions out of 150 millions population. check 2006 census you will confirm from it, although there was no provision of religion. but the Muslims have these percentage in each of the followings state. kano 99%, kaduna 70% katsina 99& zamfara 99% sokoto 99%, kebbi 85% jigawa 99%, bauchi 93%, yobe 96%, borno 87% gombe 78%, adamawa 59%, taraba 62%, benue 7%, kogi 61%, niger 77%, kwara 81%, nasarawa 61%, plateau 39%, oyo 70%, lagos 57%, osun 70%, ondo 44%, ogun 46%, ekiti 33%, south east and south south the number is insignificant, |
