This isn't income tax rate, it's income tax as a component of all tax revenue. But 29.8% would probably not be that far off the mark of the average tax rate in the UK, given the rich not only pay at a higher rate but contibute more total than the unwashed masses, shifting the weighted average up.
Stats without China, India, US or Japan should not be included in nationmaster. |

How's this done? Average of all the income bands? The income tax rate in the UK for most people is 22%, not 29% |
