The difference is that Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland are recognised territories. There is no territory called Aborignia or anything like that.
Each of the states and territories in Australia have their own flag, just as Scotland et al do. |

In 19th century United States of America my nation commited a holocaust against its native population and food supply. This was done because we did not think God loved them. Failure to respect native peoples is a crime against God. |

Are you aware of any offical or unoffical Oceania flag and anthem like the other continents Africa(OAU) and Europe(EU)? |

In response to Mim - Because the aboriginal flag is just that, the flag for their culture, not our country. I know what you mean though. |

The Scottish, Welsh and N. Irish flags represent Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland which are all countries. The Aboriginal flag represents an ethnic group, not an country. |

The Scottish, Welsh and N. Irish flags aren't the official ones of the UK, but they're all recognized, I agree with mim. |

Phil Ruddock 29th December 2004 |
Mim, because it is the Aboriginal flag is NOT the official national flag. |
