Həd were formed in 1994 by MC Jahred Shane and lead guitarist, Wesstyles, who saw each other at the same shows in the Los Angeles and Southern Californian underground scene. They began writing songs and teamed up with Mawk (Bass guitar), Chizad (Guitar), B.C (Drums), and DJ Product (Turntables) to form Həd. Həd made a turn for the worse when their album Blackout was released in 2003. They were pressured by their record label to produce more of a mainstream sound, which had an adverse affect on their previous energy, and unique sound. It is evident by their new album Only in Amerika that Həd P.E. regrets that decision, and they are back with a vengeance.
