Paratroopers Brigade - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (449 words)
The brigade was created at the mid 1950's when the controversial commando Unit 101 was merged with Battalion 890 in order to form an elite infantry brigade.
The IDF has three reservist Paratrooper brigades at any given time, consisting of personnel who served their mandatory service in the brigade, mostly in their 20's (aside from officers).
The official kippa of the brigade is red with a green spot (of approximately one and a half inches in diameter) in the centre.

The 116th Cavalry Brigade of the Idaho Army National Guard was fortunate to be one of the brigades selected for both the Enhanced Brigade and SIMITAR programs.
The second method for degrading the unit's logistics capability is to reduce the initial combat strength of the task force in personnel and vehicles.
During the follow-on logistics exercise, the commander and his staff will be reviewing the tactical operations of the exercise at the same time; they will do this, using the AAR process, near the simulation center.
