127 Johanna is a large Main belt asteroid. It has a very dark surface and probably a primitive composition of carbonates. It was discovered by P. M. Henry on November 5, 1872 and is believed to be named after Joan of Arc and The Bruno. DESCENDANTS OF WILLIAM GREVE AND JOHANNA ------ OF PRUSSIA AND GALVESTON, TX William Greve (1) was born about 1833 in Prussia, and apparently died between 1870 and 1880.
  Johanna was also in the 1900 census for Ward 12, Galveston, TX, page 9A, as a widow, with children Louise and William living with her.
On Sept. 8, 1900, Galveston was hit by a ferocious storm and accompanying tidal wave that killed more than 6,000 residents and nearly flattened the city.
