Eureka 147 is a protocol for digital radio broadcasting originally developed in Europe, but now being deployed in many countries around the world.
Eureka 147 is most often transmitted in the L band, from 1452 to 1492 MHz, but can also operate in VHF and UHF bands in some countries.
Several radio stations share a single radio signal by multiplexing their digital audio bitstreams together, being later decoded at the receiver.
