167 Urda is a Main belt asteroid. Its surface is bright in color and it is composed of silicates and iron-nickel.


It is a member of the Koronis asteroid family.


It was discovered by C. H. F. Peters on August 28, 1876 and named after Urd, one of the Norns in Norse mythology.


A stellar occultation by Urda was detected from Japan on July 23, 2001.
