Grand Final
No grand final was held in 1924, as the round robin format used in 1897 was reintroduced. The format did not live up to expectations, and was reverted to the Argus format for the 1925 season. Essendon finished on top of the ladder at the conclusion of the final series, and was awarded the premiership.
