Grand Prix 2000 - Round 10 - Germany - Preview (1381 words)
The 2000 motorcycle Grand Prix season moves past its half-way point this week-end with the German Grand Prix, held on the Sachsenring circuit.
After unification, however, the German race ran into difficulties, with spectators deserting the event at the Hockenheim, and failing to return when it was moved to the Nurburgring.
The German round, the third race at the new short GP track at the historic Sachsenring venue, is the 10th of 16 rounds, and brings the first part of the season to a close.
