Encyclopedia > 1970 African Nations Cup

The 1970 African Nations Cup was the seventh edition of the African Nations Cup, the Sudan. Just like in 1968, the field of eight teams was split into two groups of four. Sudan won its first championship, beating Ghana in the final 1-0.
