The 1974 version of the Five Nations Championship was held over a period of two months, from January 19 to March 16, 1974. The tournament was contested by England, France, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. The championship was won by Ireland, the team's eighth title (excluding seven other, shared championships). The RBS 6 Nations Championship, (referred to as RBS 6 Nations for sponsorship reasons) known before 2000 as the Five Nations Championship, is an annual international rugby union competition held between six European sides: England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. ...
