he Country Flash Band was formed in 1982 and played in local taverns and night clubs in the Salem area.
Due to the financial burden caused by change in liquor laws many of the usual places then offering live music, eliminated bands as one of their expenses.
At present the "Country Flash Band" is made up of Ron Weathers - bassist, vocalist and band leader who started the band in 1982, Rick Wilson - drummer, vocalist with the band since 2006, Mel Lowe- guitarist, vocalist with band since 2003 and Wes Bakken Pedal Steel Guitar with the band since 2003.
